UB Group is an inspiration to what family busness is all about. Started by two visionary brothers in the ’90s, UB Group (formerly Ecogen Properties) has grown from humble beginnings as tile setters to becoming leaders in multifamily development.
As UB Group move into a new phase of business growth, we wanted to help guide their brand positioning through strategic solutions. This included creating a comprehensive brand identity from the ground up, including a new name, logo, color palette, imagery, and website, that effectively captures the company's essence, blends modern innovation with its established heritage, and resonates with its commitment to peace, trust, and reliability within the British Columbia real estate market.
Meticulously Shaping a Foundation for Growth
Recognizing the need for a name that truly reflected the company's evolution and values, we guided UB Group (formerly Ecogen Properties) through a strategic re-naming process. The new name, UB Group, was chosen to be memorable, impactful, and representative of their collaborative and unified approach.
Our goal was to design a logo that seamlessly merged modern innovation with the company's rich heritage. The resulting brandmark is a timeless design that commands attention across all applications, from business cards to large-scale billboards. It symbolizes stability, connection, and the forward-thinking spirit that defines UB Group.
Following the development of the brand story and logo package, we designed and developed a custom WordPress website for UB Group. Our primary goal was to create a digital space that seamlessly blends modern innovation with the company's established heritage, while maintaining a clean and concise user experience. The website was designed to beautifully showcase the breadth of UB Group's development work within the Lower Mainland, prioritizing intuitive navigation and easy access to project information. The streamlined design also allows for easy updates, enabling UB Group to seamlessly add new projects without requiring major design overhauls.

From the outset, we were intentional in designing brand elements that would be versatile and impactful across all potential touchpoints. This included ensuring the logo, color palette, and overall visual language would translate effectively to web design, print materials, digital marketing, and beyond, creating a cohesive and recognizable brand experience.
